My Background

Hannah Severns (Assistant Professor Psychiatry at Boston University and Clinical Director of Telepsychiatry at Boston Medical Center) is a Maine native, and 3rd-generation medical professional with an emphasis on treating the whole patient . 

Hannah is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with 16 years of experience, specializing in treating depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, and substance use disorders. After receiving her masters from Northeastern University, Hannah completed her clinical rotations at Children’s Hospital, Beth Israel, Tufts, Cambridge Health Alliance, and Saint Elizabeth’s. 

A pioneer of Telepsychiatry and Behavioral Health Integration, Hannah founded the Telepsychiatry and Integrative behavior health program at Boston Medical Center (department of family medicine) and also founded the Telepsychiatry program at Saint Mary’s Hospital in Maine.

Hannah resides in Kennebunkport, ME with her two daughters, a fluffy cat, and a very handsome dog named Cap
